We are pleased to announce that the MPA Building was selected for the fourth edition of “Habitar Portugal”, curated by Susana Ventura, Maria Rita Pais and Rita Dourado.

“The Exhibition Habitar Portugal is one of the most important shows of architecture in our country. Organized by the Ordem dos Arquitectos, presents a wide range of works, with different scales and scopes, contribute to the improvement of the built environment and quality of life. This initiative, in addition to meet the particular responsibility of the Association to promote architecture in Portugal, should be considered as an cyclical opportunity and relevant disclosure, recognition and celebration of some of our best works of architecture built in Portugal or outside.”1

The edition of Habitar Portugal 09_11 is an initiative from the National Board of Ordem dos Arquitectos sponsored by Roca, that aims to provide a selection of works from Portuguese architects, built between 2009 and 2011 in the national territory or abroad.

This initiative seeks to understand how architectural works from different territories might establish a dialogue in an attempt to "map the multiple expressions that works create in their relationship with the territory, with other works and the inhabit process."
